Derrière la salle de cérémonie, un long hall se termine par un escalier qui s’enfonce sous le temple. Le bâtiment, construit pour vénérer la déesse des fourmis n’allait pas s’élever dans les airs. Après avoir descendu une vingtaine de marche, on débouche sur un couloir où s’ouvrent les cellules des prêtres et prêtresse. Tout au fond, une grille est ouverte, donnant sur un large escalier en colimaçon descendant un peu plus vers l’inconnu.
Behind the ceremonial hall, a long pathway ends with a staircase that brings under the temple. The building, made to worship the goddess of the ants, was not going to rise into the air. After descending about twenty steps, one comes to a corridor with cells of the priests. At the far end, a gate is opened, leading to a wide spiral staircase sinking down fairly further into the unknown.
